Understand domain activation

Domain matching

The www and non-www forms of the same domain are treated as equivalent. Other domains and subdomains require their own activation.

Copying an installed product’s activation certificate to another domain does not activate that domain.

Moving a site

Contact support before changing a licensed domain. Automatic domain transfers are not currently provided. Do not assume a transfer is included without a confirmed arrangement.

Renewal is separate

An installed product keeps running after the update/support term expires. Annual renewal restores the applicable update and support coverage; it is not an automatic bank debit.
